Remembrance Day 2022
Seaforths,
Regarding this year's Remembrance Day commemoration please be advised that the City of Vancouver will be returning this year to pre-Covid observations, and that all members of the community will be permitted to participate at the Victory Sq. service.
The Association is currently liaising with the Regiment to co-ordinate return bus transportation from the Seaforth Armoury on November 11th. Please RSVP to my President@seaforthhighlanders.ca email address if you wish to march with the Association this year.
Also, please note that a service of remembrance will also be held on the parade square at Seaforth Armoury for those members unable to participate at Victory Sq. on November 11th. That service, to be led by Rev. Carla Wilks, will be also open to the local community and it will begin at 10:30. At 12:00 there will follow a Seaforth Armoury Open House including the Messes.
I would like to encourage all members of the Regimental Family to join us this year, even if you might not be comfortable on parade, to either the service downtown or at Seaforth, especially to join us in the Messes afterwards for camaraderie and music.
